Delivery, inspection and acceptance
Agree the equipment condition, transport arrangements and inspection period before committing to a transaction.
Agree before proceeding
Both parties must agree the price, equipment description, serial number where available, condition, included accessories and documents, collection or delivery date, and inspection requirements in their private deal proposal. The seller must declare ownership or authority to sell. An agreed proposal is a record, not independent verification.
Record the inspection start event, duration, exact deadline and time zone, who performs the inspection and any specialist tests in the inspection requirements. No default inspection period is imposed by this website. Any future TradeSafe transaction must use the same mutually agreed timing and provider approved terms.
Delivery and transport
Buyers and sellers arrange shipping and transport themselves. Agree who books and pays, loads and unloads, insures the equipment, obtains permits and handles customs. Record the planned date and notify the other party of delays. Contact marketplace support to coordinate sale collection and delivery addresses privately.
The seller should retain dated condition photographs, equipment identification, agreed documents and dispatch evidence. At handover, record the actual arrival or collection date, equipment received, visible damage and missing items. A carrier delivery notice or seller statement alone is not buyer acceptance.
Inspection
The buyer must have the equipment physically available and complete the agreed inspection before recording an inspected handover. Check identity and serial numbers, condition, operation, included accessories, service documents and ownership or authority evidence. Use a qualified independent inspector when specialist assessment is needed; MyTradeMarket does not provide an inspection service.
If inspection is delayed, agree any extension in writing before the deadline and ensure it is reflected in the provider transaction before relying on it. The website does not automatically extend a provider inspection period.
Acceptance and fund release
Only the buyer can record an inspected handover after the other participant has agreed to the proposal. The buyer should describe what was inspected, the result and any agreed exceptions. Do not record satisfactory handover for missing, damaged or materially misrepresented equipment.
Current acceptance records do not move money. TradeSafe is the selected provider, but customer checkout and provider release instructions are not connected. For sales of R100,000 or more, the required payment design is buyer acceptance after the agreed inspection before seller release. Smaller sales retain the planned verified payment and safety check release policy unless an approved delay applies. Delivery, silence or an elapsed website deadline never sends an automatic release instruction from this app. Any TradeSafe deadline or automatic provider action must be disclosed and agreed before payment; website wording cannot override provider terms.
Problems and disputes
Record damage, missing items, non delivery or misrepresentation promptly with dated evidence and the agreed terms. Use Record a problem in your deal and separately submit a trade dispute for staff review. Do not confirm satisfactory handover while the problem is unresolved.
A website report does not automatically pause a TradeSafe transaction or extend its deadline. For any future provider payment, use the provider dispute procedure within its agreed time limits as well. Refunds, rejection, return transport and release decisions remain subject to the contract, provider terms and statutory consumer rights. Staff review does not guarantee compensation.
