About MyTradeMarket
Heavy equipment is expensive, hard to find and often sits idle. We fix that.
Our founder
A big ambition, a simple idea, and the determination to build something that matters.

At 22 years old, I founded MyTradeMarket with a vision to build something meaningful, something that could grow beyond an idea and make a real difference in the way people do business.
I've always wanted to start something of my own, but not just for the sake of having a business. I've always tried to find an opportunity to build something that matters, something with a purpose and the potential to become bigger than myself.
That ambition led me to MyTradeMarket.
I saw an opportunity to make buying, selling and renting construction equipment, heavy machinery, tools, building materials and industrial supplies easier by bringing buyers and sellers together on one platform.
In industries where finding the right equipment or the right buyer can take time, I wanted to create a place where businesses, contractors, suppliers and individuals could connect, discover opportunities and make trade more accessible.
MyTradeMarket began with a simple idea, but the vision has always been bigger. I want to build a marketplace that people can rely on, one that creates opportunities, helps businesses grow and makes it easier for people to find what they need.
Starting at 22 means building something ambitious while still learning, figuring things out and taking things one step at a time. But I believe you don't have to wait until you're older, have everything figured out or have the perfect circumstances to start building something meaningful.
Our mission
Help businesses buy, sell and rent construction equipment, tools, building materials and mining supplies in South Africa. International buyers and sellers are welcome.
Who it is for
Contractors, plant hire companies, farms, factories, clinics and anyone with equipment to sell or a job to get done.
What we stand for
Clear specifications, fees shown up front and scam screening on new listings. A verified badge means staff reviewed submitted business profile and registration details, not a guarantee of ownership or payment.
